Noemic Engineering Completes The Deployment Of Its’ Cognitive Knowledge System

Reston, VA - January 20, 2005

Noemic Engineering of Reston, VA has successfully completed the first phase of the deployment of its knowledge management system, Cognitive Schemata Noema or “CSN”.

CSN is a methodology for collecting, classifying, identifying, processing and storing data through a process that allows a computer to more accurately produce accurate information. The CSN tool set will allow an entity to manage their enterprise content and implement the methodologies which will create machine readable data, facilitating classification, taxonomies, search and retrieval solutions.

Noemic Engineering has deployed CSN through four strategic alliances with vertical market enterprise solutions providers: C-1 Commercial Real Estate, E-AEC.com, Clarity Enterprise Solutions, and Sentio Corporation.

E-AEC.com and Noemic Engineering to Integrate Cognitive Knowledge Management Systems into AEC Legacy Systems

Reston, VA – January 7, 2005

E-AEC.com and Noemic Engineering, both of Reston, VA have entered into a strategic alliance to provide integration of cognitive knowledge management modules into IT systems for the AEC (architecture, engineering & construction) industries.

E-AEC.com and Noemic Engineering have announced a strategic relationship to jointly develop integration solutions for the architectural, engineering and construction (“AEC”) industries. According to Dwayne L. Shipley, President of Noemic Engineering, "the shear quantity of IT legacy systems servicing the industry creates an environment where it is difficult to evaluate the cost benefit of software and technology upgrades. The integration, upgrade, and migration of new technology requires professional analysis of the current market, the products in the pipeline and the direction that regulatory and security directives are demanding new IT design paradigms."

Besieged by new technologies, expanding but more competitive markets, and attention to the short-term profit picture, corporate CIO’s are making decisions that will affect long-term gains. Every Corporate officer or manager is subject to scrutiny as to their contribution to add to or drain from the bottom line. It seems that a philosophy of staying with the software and techniques from mainstream offerings is safer that exploring unknown waters. Many Chief Information Officers use the position of saying, "If I fail with a big name I can shift the attention to that name rather than possibly failing with an unknown which would fall squarely on my shoulders".

E-AEC.com brings in depth market knowledge of the AEC environment and its existing products and trends to the Strategic Relationship. Noemic Engineering brings knowledge management techniques, integration and Reengineering experience. The consulting and production skills presented by the companies ensures that AEC companies can rely on them to maximize the information and processes incorporated in legacy systems and leveraging those assets to service expanding requirements and services provided by new technology.

E-AEC.com, (www.e-aec.com ) a systems integrator which specializes in AEC IT systems and business intelligence infrastructure solutions will contribute its development experience to the Alliance.
